This policy explains how RespondPal, LLC collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service.
Information We Collect
When you or your customers interact with RespondPal, we collect the following types of information:
- Contact information submitted via lead forms: name, phone number, and email address
- Business information provided during onboarding: business name, industry, and service area
- Communication data: the content of AI-generated messages sent on your behalf
- Usage data: how you interact with your RespondPal dashboard, including login times and feature usage
- Payment information: processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card details
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Deliver and operate your RespondPal AI lead response agent
- Generate personalized AI responses to your inbound leads
- Send SMS messages to leads who have contacted your business
- Send you email notifications and lead summaries
- Maintain and improve the accuracy and quality of AI responses
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
SMS Messaging & Consent
RespondPal operates as an SMS messaging service on behalf of trade and home service businesses. All SMS communications are sent only to individuals who have provided explicit consent through one of the following mechanisms:
RespondPal sends automated SMS messages on behalf of subscribing businesses to individuals who have explicitly opted in to receive text messages. Message frequency varies based on lead activity. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, reply STOP to any message.
- Web form submission: The individual submitted a contact or service request form that contained opt-in language stating they agree to receive SMS messages from the business. Opt-in language appears above the submit button on all RespondPal lead capture forms.
- Inbound phone call: The individual placed a call to the business phone number, constituting implied consent to receive a text response to their inquiry.
- All opt-in is obtained at the point of contact — RespondPal does not send messages to purchased lists or cold contacts.
- Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Opt-outs are processed immediately and automatically.
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance — we will respond within 1 business day.

- RespondPal does not share SMS opt-in data or consent records with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Message types include: service inquiry responses, follow-up messages, appointment confirmations, and Google review requests after job completion.
Data Ownership
Your lead data — including all contact information and conversation logs generated through your RespondPal agent — belongs to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your lead data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- You may request a full export of your lead data at any time
- Upon cancellation, data export requests must be made within 30 days
- After 30 days post-cancellation, we are not obligated to retain your data
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Our infrastructure is hosted on secure cloud platforms including Supabase and Vercel. However, no system is 100% secure — we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords for your account.
Third-Party Services
RespondPal integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its functionality. Each has their own privacy policy:
- Twilio — SMS and voice communication infrastructure
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI response generation
- Make.com — Workflow automation
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Supabase — Database and authentication
- Jotform — Lead capture forms
Cookies
We use minimal cookies necessary to operate the service — primarily for authentication (keeping you logged in to your dashboard). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active clients of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
